Equipment Installation

MTSI performs installation services for wireless network equipment. MTSI has extensive experience installing radio equipment manufactured by a wide range of companies including Adtran, Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent), Aviat, Ceragon, Ericsson, Exalt, and many others. MTSI has experienced personnel who install and maintain equipment operating in licensed and unlicensed frequency bands, ranging from 400 MHz to 80 GHz. The following installation services are available on a nationwide basis:

  • Radio transmission equipment for TDM DS1, DS3, and OC3 networks and IP based Ethernet systems
  • Power and signal cable runs
  • M13 and fiber multiplex equipment and cross-connect patch panels
  • Local and remote alarms
  • Order wire systems

We have experience with a broad range of installed systems that includes:

  • Point-to-multipoint broadband wireless Internet systems
  • TDM based DS1, DS3, and OC3 equipment
  • IP based Ethernet, switch, and routing equipment
  • 1+0 non-standby/ 1+1 hot-standby configurations with or without space diversity
  • N+1 multiline radios with external multiline switches

MTSI installs and provisions a variety of SNMP based Network Management Systems (NMS) manufactured by Nokia, Aviat Networks, and others.

MTSI is experienced with point-to-multipoint broadband wireless equipment used in IP networks for Ethernet applications. MTSI is experienced with installing base station and subscriber transmission equipment, power and signal cable, and antennas. MTSI also installs Cisco and other routing, IP switch, and hub equipment used in wireless applications using IP protocol.
